Monopoly Millionaires' Club game suspended

The MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES' CLUB lottery game in its current format has been suspended indefinitely. Players who purchase tickets through December 26, 2014 can still enter their "Entry Code" on the second change drawing site at https://www.playmmc.com until the January 6, 2015 deadline. The second chance drawing is scheduled for January 13, 2015.

Designed as a multi-tiered drawing-style game, MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES' CLUB debuted October 19, 2014 in 23 states, but sales came in below industry projections, leading the Texas Lottery Commission to suspend sales of the game in that state following the December 12, 2014 drawing. Lotteries participating in the game, including Maine, made the decision to end all sales in its current format after the drawing on December 26, 2014.

For years the lottery industry has been hearing from players who expressed a desire to have a game that offers more winners of a million dollars instead of one person winning multi-millions. The MONOPOLY Millionaires' Club game was designed to provide that option, but players in Maine and across the country did not respond to it as we had hoped. As we always do, we'll continue to look for new game concepts that our players will enjoy.
